We actively support the communities that surround our pristine water sources. For many years Nongfu Spring has helped families in need by injecting millions of dollars into struggling communities. And we have donated millions of bottles of water to aid people in areas devastated by natural disasters.

Environmental and Social Responsibilities
Environmental sustainability is the very core principal of our business. We work with local government and local communities to preserve the environment in and around our water sources.
- In 2000, we were chosen to be the Chinese Olympic team’s official water supplier during the Sydney Olympic Games, and we shipped 3 containers of Nongfu Spring water to the Sydney Olympic Games site. We cooperated with the Beijing Olympic bid team and launched a “Once Cent, One Bottle” public welfare campaign, putting forward that “even the smallest effort is support”. Olympic Gold Medalists Liu Xuan and Kong Linghui were the ambassadors of the campaign, which saw us donating one cent to the Beijing Olympic bid for every bottle of Nongfu Spring water sold.
- In 2002 we launched the “Sunshine Project” - for every bottle of Nongfu Spring water sold, we donated one penny to help children. We donated funds worth more than RMB 5 million to help develop sports facilities at 395 schools in 329 cities from 24 provinces.
- In 2003, Nongfu Spring contributed RMB 10 million to China’s space engineering industry three days before the launch of Shenzhou 5 on October 12, 2013. Nongfu Spring became the official water of China’s astronauts.
- In 2006, Nongfu Spring cooperated with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation to launch the “Gratitude For the Source of Water” charity campaign and raised more than RMB 5 million to help children in need from our water source areas to show appreciation for their efforts to protect the water source.
- Also in 2006, Nongfu Spring was selected by AC Nielson as one of the six most trusted brands by consumers from mainland China.
- In 2008, we transported water that filled 160 railway cars to Wenchuan as part of our earthquake relief efforts. Zhong Shanshan, Chairman of Nongfu Spring, went to the frontline for seven days and eight nights to organize the relief works.
- Also in 2008, Nongfu Spring was selected the “Platinum Brand” by American magazine “Readers’ Digest” - the only bottled water brand to be awarded.
- In 2009, Nongfu Spring launched a nationwide campaign called “Tracing Water Source”. We invited consumers to visit our water source area and our plant base. By the end of 2012, about 15,000 consumers and more than 200 media outlets had witnessed our production process and visited our water source.
- In 2010, Nongfu Spring donated 380,000 boxes of drinking water to people suffering from the Yunnan Drought, which provided people from 16 cities and counties with good quality water.
